The Scam Continues

HAVE YOU BEEN SCAMMED BY SHAW ACADEMY?

Add your story here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/202403510916809/

  1. TRICK TOOLKIT & CERTIFICATE CHARGES

Shaw Academy tricks you by getting you to click on GET MY COURSE TOOLKIT or GET MY E-CERTIFICATE and instead of taking you to a page to show you what you could be getting and how much it will cost, it takes you to a blank page. Only once you check your PayPal or bank card do you realise that you have been charged you for it.

When you complain, Shaw Academy tells you that you clicked on the BUY IT NOW button and selected that you agreed to the Terms & Conditions, even though this is not what happened. When you tell Shaw Academy that you don't want the Toolkit you were duped into buying, they tell you they are not able to refund you money because you now have access to to the toolkit.

2. CHARGES CAN APPEAR MONTHS AFTER CANCELLATION

Many people report finding charges from Shaw Academy in their bank statements weeks or even months after cancellation.

3. NOT ACCREDITED

Shaw Academy's certificates and diplomas are not recognised by any other institution. They used to be accredited by Edinburgh Napier University, but ENU severed ties with Shaw Academy in July 2019. ENU has asked Shaw Academy repeatedly to remove ENU's credentials from their certificates and diplomas, but Shaw Academy has not complied.

4. OUT-OF-DATE CONTENT

Shaw Academy course content has not been updated for about five years. This renders courses like Digital or Social Media Marketing or Mobile App Development largely irrelevant. So you buy a course thinking that it will give you relevant information, and you find that you've paid for information that you can't apply. You can access samples of outdated material on the Facebook group mentioned above by going to the "Recent Group Files" section on the right.
